Where are you located and which areas do you serve?

We are based in London, England and regularly perform across the city, Surrey and surrounding venues. Travel arrangements are included in quotes for events outside our standard service area.

How do bookings and consultations work?

Bookings start with a planning conversation to understand your music tastes, schedule and special requests, followed by a written agreement and deposit. We offer a free initial consultation to align on the playlist and logistics before your event.

Can your DJs act as the MC?

Yes — our DJs are experienced hosts who can announce key moments, coordinate suppliers and keep the programme flowing. If you prefer a dedicated MC, we can combine roles or recommend alternatives.

What music styles do you play and can you take requests?

We cover a wide range of genres from classic to contemporary and tailor each set to your preferences. Requests are welcome before and during the event, and we work with you to include must-play and do-not-play lists.

What equipment do you provide?

SpinSisters supplies professional-grade sound systems, lighting and necessary cabling, plus backup gear for peace of mind. Equipment is selected to suit venue size and atmosphere, with upgrades available on request.

How do you handle key moments like the first dance or speeches?

We coordinate timing with your planner and suppliers to ensure seamless transitions for the first dance, cake cutting and speeches. Cueing and mixes are prepared in advance so these moments feel smooth and memorable.

We hired an incredible DJ (Emma 'the Baroness') via SpinSisters for a birthday event - the process was smooth, and the team very helpful. Emma was a dream to work with, understood exactly what was needed (and shared my taste in music, which was a huge bonus) - on the night she got everyone dancing for hours, and they all told me how awesome the music was and that they didn't want to leave. Janice & Lorraine from Spin Sisters were our DJs for our wedding and we couldn’t recommend them enough. They played music that reflected the energy in the room and, more importantly, joined in too by coming and speaking to guests, getting us to sing along, and making everyone feel special. I had seen lots of videos of SpinSisters on social media and was really excited to meet Laura and see if she could DJ at our wedding - she did not disappoint! Laura was so helpful from the outset and completely got what we were looking for. It was such an important part of the day for us (I love having a dance) and she kept the dancefloor full ALL NIGHT. The venue said they never see it that full til the end. I also wanted a sax player and Laura gave me lots of great recommendations which was really helpful. The night exceeded all of our expectations and we got so many "What a party!" comments/messages the next day. Thank you so much Laura!

Chloe Fontaine was our DJ from Spin Sisters for our wedding and she was fantastic. We had a great experience from booking through to the day! Laura was brilliant from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better person to set the perfect tone for our wedding. She was on hand before the wedding to answer all our questions and had a questionnaire to fill out to ensure the music was spot on. There was no fuss and Laura gave us the best memories as a result of her perfect song choices - never a dull moment. Couldn't recommend more! Thank you, Laura!
